Compatibility
Taglocity 3.0 uses a different format for saving tags than Taglocity 1.x
therefore you should not run both versions at the same time. Taglocity
1.x uses square brackets around tag names like this: [TagA]. Taglocity
3.0 does not.
Taglocity 3.0 allows spaces in tag names and version 1.x does not. If
you do use both versions at the same time, it is likely that you will get the
same tags applied in both formats.
The AutoTag feature in Taglocity 1.x is not supported in Taglocity 3.0.
During installation, Taglocity 3.0 will disable Taglocity 1.x if it is present.
You can manually enable it again with the Outlook Add-in manager.
Converting Tags
After Taglocity 3.0 is installed, you can import Taglocity 1.x tags via the
Tools & Support page on the Configuration form which is accessed under the Taglocity
button on the Taglocity toolbar. Only the tag names are imported.
You will have to manually set Tag Actions.
You can also convert the tags on your Outlook items from the 1.x format to 3.0
(removes the square brackets, i.e. [TagA] becomes TagA.
